(Not sure if this is the right sub to post this, please correct if wrong) I'm using a Samsung S6 lite tab for note taking. Problem is the note size ends up being way too large (120 MB for 90 pg, 470 Mb for another 135 page note), which limits the file sharing and sending across (non-samsung) devices.
I've found that Noteshelf (although it isn't free) is the best on my s6 lite. As smooth and lag-free as Samsung notes renders nicely (versus something like squid), and it doesn't have a problem with zooming in. I go between Noteshelf and samsung notes, because I like the linear infinite scrolling format of samsung notes.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a budget-friendly tablet that offers a lot of features for anyone who wants to stream, binge-watch, and take notes. It has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1200x2000 pixels and AKG-tuned dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which provide immersive sound quality and bass performance.
S6 lite is good enough. -2. IWW_ Galaxy Tab S6 Lite • 2 yr. ago. S6 Lite in my opinion. jolliskus • 2 yr. ago. If your budget is not set in stone and you can afford it go for the S7. The better hardware will offer much improved longevity over the S6 Lite in terms of overall speed/snappiness of the tablet.
Oh but the 2022 version is like 80HP. lenovo p11 plus might also be an option. the helio g90t is a bit faster than the 2022 s6 lite. the software is less bloaty than samsungs. you get less updates though (one version). or get the xiaomi pad 5 with its snapdragon 860 which has the power of the tab s7 and costs 3-400€.
